The contest that Pie entered this year has the results on the Internet.

In the middle column of the page scroll down and Click on "See the
2006 Build-a-gift judging and selected winners. There will be 22
pages like a slide show. Pie's car is on page 17 with the grand prize
winner. They both did not have plans to build their items, but Pie
looked at a die cast so the judges said that Pie's was built with a plan
so he could win in the category of one built with a plan. Wood
magazine auctioned the items sent to them and they made $11,300
for St.Jude. Pie has built another Duesenberg to replace the one he
sent to the contest so in April you will be able to see it. I guess I will
have to do some dusting before you come. I have finally learned to
dust his cars and trucks with a small paint brush. When I was dusting
with a cloth, I was knocking off headlights, mirrors, and antennas.
Pie got real good at gluing.
