Along the Creole Nature Trail
1993
In the spring of 1993 Mary Ann and I were just starting our
two year tour around the US in our new Bounder. We spent
several days in sulphur and Lake Charles and made the trip
south to Holly Beach and the Creole Nature Trail. These
pictures were taken with a Nikon F2AS with a clestron C90 as
the lense.
The first pictures are of a mother alligator and her brood. Then we ran into a big
male lying across the trail. We back tacked and walked around the other way.
Here are the babies. They will stay with
mom until they are about 3 feet long.
