It will be wonderful to see everyone again after 50 years.   My
husband, Wilbert C. "Nooky" Moore, and I were married for 43
years.  He was a basketball coach and teacher until he retired
in 1996.   He was in the Army and served three years in Hawaii --
playing basketball for the Army.  After he was discharged, he
came to McNeese and was on the team there.   We met and
were married in 1961.
After graduating from McNeese, I worked at Cities Service in
Lake Charles as a secretary, for lawyers in Slidell and also for
NASA in Slidell.   Then I became a school teacher and retired in
1999.   Now I spend my time with family and friends, reading,
working in my flower beds at our home in Lake Arthur, and
serving God.
We have two children, Kim and Jeff.   Kim works for Calcasieu
Parish School Board as the e-Learning Coordinator and Jeff is
an Assistant Basketball coach at Northwestern.   Kim and her
husband Britt have two girls, Kaitlyn and Kourtney.   Jeff and
his wife Amy have a baby on board who should arrive at the
beginning of April.    Soon we will have three wonderful
granddaughters!
In April 2004 the non-hodgins lymphoma returned to my body.
However it was gone after two chemo treatments.   On
October 7, 2004, I lost my beloved husband to a massive
stroke.  He had just been inducted into the Lake Arthur High
School Sports Hall of Fame.   After he went to heaven, the LAHS
gym was named in memory of him.   We had a wonderful life
together.
See you in April, if our new granddaughter doesn't interfere
with my plans!
